What You Can Expect From A Mini Branding Photo Shoot At The Newest Calgary Photo Studio
Humble brag over here: I can get A LOT done in a brand mini photo shoot. I can always make the most of any space we are in, but now that I have my brand new studio - read more about Jinx & Co here - the sky is truly the limit. After 9 years as a photographer, it has been SO incredibly refreshing to have COMPLETE control of the space. Branding Minis take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Calgary’s Newest Photo Studio
Branding Minis are perfect for businesses that need a lot of seasonal content - I even have a photo subscription option for businesses that need “just a few new photos” often.
These sessions are 30 minutes, and do not include a planning session with me. Lucky for you, there are tons of brand photography planning resources on the blog.
These sessions include edited images from yours truly (but I will send you the proofing gallery of 30-50 images so you can CHOOSE the images that you want).
What We Have Ready For Branding Photos At The Studio
Although you can (and should!) bring all of the personal touches you want, we have lots ready for you to use for your branding mini’s! Here’s just a short list (always subject to change):
A Living Room Space (for those comfortable “laptop lifestyle” photos)
A Couple Solid Painted Walls (for your headshots!). These also make for great “white space” photos if you want to add words to a banner photo on your website or anything like that.

Want to know the best part (and why I love shooting these brand mini’s at my studio instead of anywhere else)? Even though you only have 30 minutes of “camera time” with me, I don’t book these sessions back to back like I do with showhome mini sessions. You have time to get set up, bring your props in (check out this post for what to consider bringing), and get relaxed before we start shooting!
Why Jinx & Co Is the Perfect Calgary Branding Photography Location
I’m biased but honestly - for so many reasons. First, I completely change out the furniture quarterly so it’s always looking fresh. Second, and kind of along the same line, I’m the only branding photographer taking photos at Jinx & Co. This was done strategically - and not just to be a jerk to other branding photographers in Calgary. I know you don’t want your branding photos to look the same as 12 other businesses in your industry. When studio spaces become too popular, you can start to recognize the space in the photos. You want the space to be nice of course, but you don’t want to take the attention off of YOU and your business.
